Feast Watson Teak Stain

Handley Lo-Sheen Protection

Doncaster, VIC

With an existing Tasmanian Oak floor the homeowners here were looking to  change the colour without going with Walnut or Black Japan, which many people lean towards...so, after a couple of samples Feast Watson's Teak Brown was given the thumbs up

I'd never used this colour on Tasmanian Oak and I must say, the stain took to it like a duck to water. It tied in beautifully with their new kitchen and was perfect for the era the house was built in

The floor here was repaired in some sections where particle board was used previously. Once repaired we superfine sanded the timber and applied the stain on hands 'n' knees with a rag, wiping it out evenly as we went. A very old school method that produces a gorgeous evenly stained floor

First up the kitchen under went some big repair work

Then it was onto mowing down a ton of staples from several lots of under-lay

The stain going down is always a highlight of any job

With the Feast Watson stain dry the polyurethane coatings are easily rolled on

The colour really pops under the wet 2 Pac polyurethane finish

All dry. The colour here is called Teak Brown

The teak Brown Stain provides a gorgeous, golden tone without being too overbearing

Matte finishes look fantastic over any stain work

Just the right amount of stain to pick up the grain and have a massive impact on the aver all look of the home

Brown 'n' Gold

The Teak Brown Stain from Feast Watson  was the perfect choice for this Tasmanian Oak floor
