Blackbutt flooring is an extremely popular choice with a lot of it going into new homes and modern extensions. The neutral colours blend in beautifully with all of the popular décor colours
The timber is dense and hard-wearing with a similar grain to other exotic timbers such as Jarrah & Spotted Gum
From my perspective it's one of the great flooring timbers to sand and I'm always excited to be given the chance to work with it
It's also one of those timbers that can look outstanding in a matte and absolutely stunning in a high-gloss finish
