Staining Timber floors is one of the trickiest tasks a floor sanding team can take on. It's also the most rewarding.
Not only does the work have to be amazing, it also requires a meeting of the minds with the clients to ensure everyone is on the same page, and sharing the same vision of how it will all look as far as tying it all in with the rest of your decor.
There are several ways to stain a floor, however we've always felt that rubbing it on by hand has produced the best results as far as depth of colour, and attention to detail goes.
It's tough work, but so well worth the effort.

A big part of our overall service is repairing aged and damaged boards. There are many reasons we might need to do some carpentry repair work. It could be damage from Termites or Borer. Water or urine damage leaving dark stains, or simply walls have been removed and the floor boards need to be patched up.
Mostly, we source secondhand boards to tie in with the age of your home. This gives us the best chance of getting similar colour and grain structure, to make our repair work as invisible as we possibly can.
It's not something we have to do on every job, but when we do take on repair work, we make sure we do a great job of it. You wouldn't expect anything less.
