SPOTTED GUM

Many floors we work on stand out for a variety of reasons. This Spotted Gum floor here was memorable to us  for a number of reasons. Firstly, it was in an outstanding farm house, in the wonderful cattle farm region of Monomeith, in Victoria. Such an idyllic way to live if you're so lucky

Secondly, it's one of the richest, deepest batches of Spotted Gum flooring we've sanded over the years. Looking at the boards the richness of the grain and colour is outstanding, as many of these floors are often paler in overall colour tone.

With our superfine sanding, coupled with a beautiful matte finish gives the boards an almost 3D effect within the highs and lows of the grain.

All up a gorgeous example of what can be expected of a good, hard-wearing Spotted Gum floor.
