Handley Lo-Sheen Protection

We don't see a lot of Southern Beech which is an absolute shame because it's an outstanding looking timber, and from a sanding point of view it's a pleasure to work with.

It's very similar to Blackbutt in appearance, and to me just seems to have a few more interesting boards with outstanding feature and grain than what you might find in a select Blackbutt floor.

This beautiful home in Pearcedale has a large expanse of quality timber throughout including this Southern Beech flooring which was chosen by the original owner who built the house.

The new owners were pretty excited to see just how well it all came together once it was resanded and polished.

Southern Beech. Another great Aussie hardwood.

My favourite part of the day. First thing in the morning

Rolling the finish over the Southern Beech floor

Southern Beech can also look outstanding in a high-gloss finish

Southern Beech sands very flat and smooth

Beautiful feature grain in this Southern Beech floor

Southern Beech is a timber I really like.

Easy on the eye, and a pleasure to work with
