Looking for something completely different? How 'bout a Stencil on your floor. I can do pretty much anything you like, it's up to your imagination really. Most people tend to lean towards the Botanical look, but, hey, if you want the Carlton Football Club insignia on your kitchen floor, well, we could do it. Not a Blues supporter? What about a Magpie, Tiger, Swan or Hawk?
Anyway, whatever it is your seeking for your floor, it's a simple matter of sanding the floor to a 'Super Fine' finish, applying the first coat of two pac polyurethane, then once dry, the area where the art work is to be applied is lightly cut back. Once the Stencil is dry, a further two coats of polyurethane are applied.
As the Stencil sits on that first coat of polyurethane, which stops it from bleeding into the timber fibers, the whole thing looks as though it's suspended in between the coatings.
Quite an awesome look really.
